Tiger Nut Milk

Ingredients 

  • 1-1/2 cup raw tiger nuts
  • Enough water to cover tiger nuts, for soaking
  • 4 cups cold filtered water, for blending

Instructions 

  1. Soak the tiger nuts overnight, or for 8-12 hours, in enough water to cover them. (Soak in refrigerator.)
  2.  Remove tiger nuts from soaking water and place in food processor or blender. Add 4 cups cold filtered water and blend until smooth.
  3.  Place a nut milk bag in a large bowl and pour blended tiger nut mixture in. Strain the tiger nut pulp out. 
  4.  Store tiger nut milk in refrigerator for up to 3 days. 

 

You’ll need a nut milk bag or cheesecloth for straining!
