SC Maple Orange Pork Shoulder

Ingredients 

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder, cut into several big chunks
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 4 Tbs maple syrup
  • 2 apple, peeled and chopped

Instructions 

  1. Rub the pork with the salt, pepper, and safe.
  2. Place it in the slow cooker. 
  3. Add the apples, orange juice, and maple syrup. 
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Once it is cooked, use 2 forks to pull the pork apart.
  5. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
