Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 LARGE apple, chopped 
  • 1 Tbs chopped fresh sage leaves or 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tbs butter
  • 1 egg 
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Combine shredded chicken breast, chopped apple, sage, and cinnamon in a bowl. 
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the ingredients from the bowl to the skillet and sauté until apples have softened and everything is heated through, approximately 5-10 minutes. 
  3. Cook the egg: either make a space directly in the skillet to fry, or poach separately in a small pot.
  4. Add seasonings to taste and top hash with egg.
