Macro Perfect Simple Chicken Apple Hash

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cooked chicken breast, shredded (leftovers are perfect for hash!)
  • 1 large apple, diced 
  • 1 Tbs. chopped fresh sage leaves or 1 tsp. dried sage
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped apple, sage, and cinnamon and cook until apples have softened.
  2. Add shredded chicken breast to the skillet and toss all ingredients together until warm.
  3. Add optional additions and enjoy!

Notes: you can always up the protein with larger servings of meat!
